VE DAY 2025

On VE Day, 80 years ago, churches sounded their bells to signify the end of the war. This year on Thursday 8 May at 7pm, we will be joining churches and cathedrals around the nation as they let their bells ring out. (please note the change in time from 6.30pm)

Following this, there will be a short service at 7:30pm at St Michael’s Church.

It will be an opportunity to reflect and give thanks for the peace that so many sacrificed their lives for during the Second World War.

All are welcome to come and join us.
